This is the website for the City College of San Francisco Geographic Information Services department.  The mission of this program is to explore new techniques and forms related to the mapping and geographical survey using digital tools.  The project was to redesign the website (hand-coded using HTML and Dreamweaver) into a web application using Joomla 1.0 CMS.  The clients wanted to retain as much of the basic design aspects of the original site (colour scheme, navigation, links to external sites).  Additionally, they requested consultation on choosing a commercial ISP to host this site outside of CCSF servers.
